Even after spending my entire life in New Mexico, I still love the Balloon Fiesta. It marks the beginning of fall and cooler weather, and there is nothing like watching mass ascension with a good cup of coffee. Ashley's family wanted to capture the balloons in the background for their family photos, so we all got up before the sun and headed over to the foothills. It was a bit chilly, but everyone toughed it out, and we had an amazing sunrise to illuminate their portraits. Not a bad way to start a day!
